At Fundamentals of Biblical Counseling, you will receive 30 hours of quality classroom instruction. This training is designed for those who desire to become more effective people helpers, whether in formal counseling settings or everyday conversations.

Fundamentals will be offered in two parts. Completion of both parts of the training meets the classroom instruction requirements of those pursuing counseling certification from the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. The Fundamentals course is taught by the staff of MBCC, with help from guest presenters.

Part I - Basics of Biblical Counseling (10 Hours of Training)

Basics of Biblical Counseling provides a carefully thought-out introduction to biblical counseling. In Basics, you will receive instruction that will equip you with a solid biblical counseling foundation to build upon.

Basics is a great place to start if you aren’t quite sure if counseling is something you are called to do.

Part II - Targeted Biblical Counseling Training (20 Hours of Training)

For those who desire to dig a little deeper, this targeted training teaches students to practically apply the principles learned in Basics in common counseling situations. This training will equip you with tools to help you more effectively counsel the people God brings into your life in both formal and informal settings.
